š« Iām Not Good Enough for Pole⦠Hereās Why That Doesnāt Matter
If youāre reading this thinking
āIām not strong enoughā
āIām not fit enoughā
āIāll be the worst one thereā
ā¦youāre exactly the person this is for.
Because the truth is ā you donāt need any fitness to start pole.
And most people who walk through our doors? Theyāve never even stepped foot in a gym.
š Let me be honest with youā¦
I didnāt start as someone who loved fitness.
I tried the gymā¦
Got as far as the main door, felt overwhelmed, and left.
I tried cheerleadingā¦
It felt intimidating and like everyone already knew what they were doing.
I tried runningā¦
And got overtaken by a man walking.
I tried to jog past him out of pure embarrassment, got a stitch, had to stop⦠and then awkwardly get overtaken again š
Also⦠itās cold and boring.
I tried at-home workout DVDsā¦
They were fine, but repetitive and I got bored quickly.
Basically ā I just never felt like I fit anywhere.
⨠Then I found poleā¦
One day, when I was working in a tanning salon, a colleague suggested pole fitness.
I didnāt even know it was an option.
Back then, it felt way more taboo.
But I went to a small private studioā¦
And I fell in love immediately.
Not because I was good at it ā I wasnāt.
But because it felt different.
It felt:
fun
expressive
challenging in a good way
and most importantly⦠I wanted to come back
šŖ You donāt need to be āgood enoughā
You donāt need:
upper body strength
flexibility
confidence
coordination
You build all of that in class.
Thatās literally what beginner pole is for.
š„ What actually matters
Not how strong you are.
Not how you look.
Not whether youāve ever worked out before.
What matters is:
š showing up
š trying something new
š giving yourself a chance
š And hereās the part people donāt expectā¦
I trained pole for 2 years before I ever stepped foot in a gym.
And even then, it took me another 4 years to feel comfortable going.
Now? I love it ā because I use it to get stronger for pole.
But pole was the thing that made fitness finally click for me.
š So if youāre thinking about itā¦
If thereās even a small part of you thatās curiousā¦
Do it.
Not when you feel ready.
Not when youāre āfitterā.
Not when youāve lost weight or gained confidence.
š Do it as you are now.
Because thatās exactly who our beginner classes are for.
⨠Ready to try your first class?
You donāt need to be good enough.
You just need to start š
